No credit card required  ·  Works on all Shopify plans

Customer adds 1 product
+ Warranty attached automatically

Set it up once. It runs on every order.

Start from the ready-made Extended Warranty template. It is pre-filled, so most stores only change the price and the product tags.

01

Tag eligible products

Add a tag such as warranty-eligible to the products that should get a warranty. Collections, product IDs and item price work too.

02

Pick the template

Choose Extended Warranty. It adds a warranty product at $199 by default, and Tweakday creates the virtual product for you. Change the price and wording any time.

03

It attaches at checkout

When an eligible product is in the cart, the warranty appears under it. Buy 2 products, get 2 warranties. Customers do nothing.

What the rule looks like

This is the Extended Warranty template as it comes. Edit any part.

When
Product Tag is one of
warranty-eligibleelectronicsappliancefurnituretools
Then
Add product Extended Warranty at $199
Title: “with Extended Warranty”
Details: “Extends coverage beyond the manufacturer's standard warranty period.”

Built for products where durability matters

Works across electronics, appliances, furniture, tools, sporting equipment and any product customers want to protect. Not just electronics.

High-margin revenue

A warranty costs you little to offer and adds revenue to orders you were already getting.

Happier customers

Peace of mind at the moment of purchase improves satisfaction after the sale.

Fewer returns and refunds

Customers who feel covered are less likely to ask for a refund when something goes wrong.

Why use Tweakday for warranties

Built for add-ons that belong to a specific product, not to the whole order.

Common questions

Do I need to create a warranty product in Shopify first?

No. Tweakday auto-creates a draft virtual product for the warranty. It never shows in your store and never needs fulfillment. If you already have a warranty product, you can pick that one instead.

Does the warranty quantity match the product quantity?

Yes. Quantity scales 1:1 by default, so 2 products get 2 warranties. You can also set your own ratio per add-on.

Which products get a warranty?

Only the ones you choose. Match by product tag, collection, product ID, item price and more, then combine conditions. The template starts with tags such as warranty-eligible, electronics, appliance, furniture and tools.

Do I need Shopify Plus or theme edits?

No. Tweakday runs on Shopify Functions, so there is nothing to install in your theme and no code to write. It works on all Shopify plans.

Is it free?

Checkout add-ons, including warranties, are part of the Pro plan. There is a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, and you can keep using the free plan afterwards.

Does Tweakday handle warranty claims?

No. Tweakday adds the warranty as a line item at checkout. The warranty terms, fulfilment and claims are yours to manage.
